When Dean Lewis angrily told me to my face that my advocacy made his job much harder, I kept going.
As Speaker of the Senate, I led the ISA/SEA Petition—Yale’s largest student government petition since the 1980s—fighting unapologetically for Yalies’ study abroad and summer experiences. As Yale’s cuts festered, I produced results, galvanizing alumni/donors and redrafting SEG eligibility expansion for OCS evaluation.
Again and again, I’ve dared to deliver—on $1.2M budgets, on language learning incentive reforms at Yale’s Center for Language Study, on fixing disbursement infrastructure at YCBO, and on reimplementing New Haven scholarships directly in collaboration with City Hall.
I dare because we must—because so much is at stake—because we need fighters with serious, proven experience—to defend, pursue, and reimagine.
Join us.
We’ll prove how much Yalies can accomplish when we dare.

I’m running on my record of daring to defy convention.
After Yale slashed support for its most financially-vulnerable students, I secured $3,000 for Adobe Creative Cloud stipends and over $12,500 to alleviate summer storage costs as a YCC Senator. When dining halls stopped serving students’ favorite menu items, I negotiated with Yale Hospitality to reintroduce cookies in Commons, grapes in the residential college dining halls, and grilled cheese at Steep Café.
No one thought this change was possible until I led it.
And now, Alex and I ask you to join us in envisioning all that Yalies can accomplish when we dare. The band-aid solutions and YCC E-Board complacency of this past year are not enough. It is time to leverage the role of Vice President to presently and publicly fight for the Yale experience we all deserve.
